Starting with the action of building up weapons with wood pieces and therefor, as kids do, play wargames, this project is a speculative tale where innocence and danger are unified.

Betwixt a hostile and lighthearted context, playgrounds are becoming military training camps, where the notion of leisure is interwoven with authority and security. Wondering around the (re)presentation of weapons in our daily life, especially how we are exposed to them, how they are part of our visual education and the way they are perceived as objects of terror but also of power and pleasure, brought the intention to enlighten a parallel, well significant reality.

Almost like a possible, timeless site in which labor and freedom, rules and childhood, brutality and delusion are combined. Half dreamlike - half dystopia this visual screenplay is depicting activities, behaviors, identities and thoughts of a spirit that is living with enthusiasm in that eternally violent and youthful world.
